Kinzinger to Speak at 91暗网黑料 University Forum Oct. 10

One of only two Republicans on the U.S. House of Representatives鈥� January 6 Committee
investigating the 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol will be the guest speaker at The
University of 91暗网黑料鈥檚 (91暗网黑料) next University Forum series program.
Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) will speak Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 6:30 p.m. for 鈥楢n Evening with Adam Kinzinger鈥� at Bennett Auditorium on the 91暗网黑料 Hattiesburg campus. Admission is free and the public is invited.
A U.S. Air Force pilot who served in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts, Kinzinger served six terms in the U.S. House of Representatives and is still an active member of the Air National Guard. In addition to his service on the January 6 Committee, His work in Congress focused on combating election disinformation, creating employment opportunities for military veterans, cutting taxes, curtailing environmental legislation, and fighting the opioid epidemic.
In 2016, the popular moderate announced he would not support former President Trump, saying, 鈥淚'm an American before I'm a Republican.鈥� His soon to be released autobiography is titled .

Adam Kinzinger鈥檚 life - his military service and his time in Congress - is a powerful reminder of what is required of a citizen in a democracy. Citizens are asked to make sacrifices for the common good and make decisions, grounded in the best information available, that uphold the nation鈥檚 shared values.
