The challenge of recruiting and retaining the best candidates and developing them into officers has become a constant feature of the police manager’s daily concerns. In each agency no matter the size, recruitment and retention is among the top challenges. Participants will learn the latest best practices and evidence-based solutions for recruiting, consider their agency’s strengths for recruiting the best qualified candidates, and discover the latest trends regarding officer retention. Additionally, the impact of retention on sergeant, line-level supervisor, FTO, and detective appointments will be discussed. | |

ABOUT THE CLASS |
This comprehensive 3-Day Instructor Certification Program covers Impact Munitions, Chemical Munitions, OC/Aerosols & Flash-Bang/Sting-Balls. The course is structure for officers seeking Less-Lethal certification and is conducted on an 8-hour/day basis. It includes a blend of classroom sessions and range exercise focusing on the historical background, nomenclature, applications, use of force considerations, training, real aspects and the integration of Less-Lethal munitions into current departmental practices. The program offers flexibility, allowing participants to register for individual course days based on their preferences. |

ABOUT THE CLASS | |
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. | |
